The script follows the story line of the movie with Buddy the Elf being a human who is raised as an elf in the North Pole. Buddy finds out the truth and goes looking for his family who are not too receptive about his appearance or general behavior! But Buddy turns them all around before finally saving Christmas with his festive cheer! There are song recommendations throughout the script, with a mixture of traditional Christmas songs and modern songs. There are 20-22 speaking parts, with additional non-speaking roles too. The first lesson is interactive and involves them cutting out facts, and then sorting these facts into paragraphs. In the second lesson the children need to use these facts to write four paragraphs.
